be creative&smart with your daily routine

Being creative doesn't always have to refer to fine arts and crafts, it can be done with ideas and decisions you make in everyday life! One main thing that is in everyone's daily schedule is food. We ALL eat, and with New Year's resolutions on everyone's mind, loosing weight and staying healthy is probably top of the list. Well, for me it surly is! When you think of loosing weight you automatically think of dieting. But dieting isn't always the answer. I've learned that you don't have to give up the foods you love, all you have to do is alter your decisions. It's SO easy! One of my favorite dishes is pizza. Of course if you order out, the calories are thru the roof! What I've done, and you can too, is make a pizza from scratch. It's easy, quick and fun.

First of all, it's best to use a whole wheat crust that you can buy at any local grocery store. Also, another way to cut the fat in half without depriving your taste buds is to use turkey pepperonis and reduced fat shredded cheese. Changes like these can make a world of a difference. Other ingredients for toppigs are tomato sauce, mushrooms, spinach, diced onions and bell peppers, and any other vegetable that you prefer. I also use rotel for an extra kick of flavor. Get creative! Bake it in the oven at 360 for 20 minutes and wah-la, you have a great healthy snack that everyone can enjoy. If you do weight watches, like I do, the point system is about 5 points a slice! Enjoy!
